Get Organized with a Martha Stewart Closet System

If you don’t constantly reorganize your closet, even if it is in flawless condition, it will end up in a state of confusion.  This is why it is vital to occasionally survey your clothes and accessories to find those that you do not need and.   However, there is more to learn that is past the usual preservation technique.  These easy storage
practices can be used to assist in keeping your closet in tip top shape and your apparel looking great. A martha stewart  closet is a great tool to help you get organized.

To proper way to take care of your shoes is to clean them by wiping and then put tissue in them to help them keep their form.  Cover boot tops with cardboard and place really tall boots flat; you can even use shoe tree if you wish.  Having a shoe care kit is also good, it would contain stuff like polish, brush and other equipments that is made available.

To take advantage of your storage space, place hooks on the inside of the martha stewart closet door to hang your robes, coats, and other items that are in constant use.  Towel racks are great for scarves while belts are a good match for hanging racks.  Closes such as shirts, swimsuits, and jogging clothes must always be folded and stacked in boxes for a clean look.  Ensure winter that garments, especially those made of wool is clean before storing.  Then use an acid free tissue to stop creases and also use storage bags where air can pass through on the top shelve of your closet.  Replace hangers that came from the drycleaners with wooden hangers and garment bags when dealing with suits and coats.

Remember that certain clothes should only be hung on wooden hangers in the martha stewart closet, these include: ironed shirts, linen and rayon garments and cotton outfits. Padded hangers are to be used for silk and satin while pants and skirts must be hung from hangers that have clips.

Clip hangers often cause marks or impressions, but there is a way to prevent this, just place a piece of felt between the clips.   As ways, group clothes by class and colour and keep hangers with no clothes o them at the end of the rod for easy access.  Keep within effortless reach, supplies such as lint removers, rollers, and static guard and also restoration supplies like extra buttons and needle/thread.

Storing your linens in the martha stewart closet has the same universal principles. These are: You should have a clean shelve and drawers and also one that has been recently painted.   Lines can be folded to fit their storage space, whether it is narrow or wide.  Adjustable shelve can be set at various heights.  If you have a rigid closet use plastic bins, baskets and others of such to produce a modified surface and space.

Use labels with your Martha Stewart Closet

It is unnecessary to unfold something in order to find out what it is; this may because some clothing is hard to differentiate when they are folder.    Take the tie and tag the edges of the shelves, use adhesive labels.

Prevention

Cedar blocks are good at preventing moths when placed into drawers or shelves with linens.  Sachets are good t applying slight fragrance to the linens. These can be placed in the martha stewart closet as well.

How Difficult Was It?

We had handymen and friends help us install it.

My Review

The Martha Stewart Closet Organizer is beautiful, far more attractive and sturdier than the plastic organizers I had had previously. But it costs a couple hundred dollars and it’s not that easy to install. We had handymen and some friends help us put into the closet. And even they found it challenging. But the end result was worth it because the closet, which is extremely small (the house dates back to the 1950s before storage was such a priority), is finally organized. My husband keeps his stuff in there, and we can see what he has, and he can easily get to all his clothes without a problem. Also, he has many button-down shirts, which require ironing. I can put them into this closet and not worry that I’ll have to iron them again before he wears them. It’s a beautiful thing. I’d recommend investing in one of these only if you’re willing to pay extra for the system and perhaps to get help installing it.

Would you recommend this to a friend?

Yes
